It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Your Energetic Health…
After the adrenaline rush of launching businesses, staying consistent on socials, and keeping blogs alive across multiple platforms… there was silence.
This past month was a stark contrast to previous. While I understand the importance of keeping momentum going, I often forget—because I’m always doing, that even healers need healing.
Thankfully, I was reminded of this. My own incredible practitioner helped me realise that my body had been holding on to a heavy load: layers of trauma, emotional residue, other people’s energy… years of it, maybe even decades. I didn’t even realise how much I was carrying until I gave myself the space to stop.
So July was spent healing.
Clearing. Releasing. Sitting with myself. Enjoying stillness and silence.
My body was tired, really tired… and it had been trying to tell me for a while. I finally listened. I rested when I needed to. I swam in the icy ocean (more on that later). I paused client sessions so I could redirect energy inward, and I gave myself permission to reflect on what’s next without pressure.
This wasn’t easy. But it was necessary.
Sometimes we only really hear our body when it starts screaming—fatigue, headaches, restlessness, or a deep emotional fog. But healing doesn’t have to wait until you’re burnt out. It can start with something as simple as stillness. As a practitioner, I often remind others of this… and this time, I needed that reminder myself.
I spent meaningful time with family and welcomed home our eldest daughter, who had been away in Edinburgh on university exchange for the past seven months. Our son was also travelling through Europe – and having all my babies home, under one roof again, brought a deep sense of peace and comfort that’s hard to put into words. My cup runneth over!! ❤️
Most recently, I was in the Hunter Valley for our annual regional meeting with my colleagues – visiting stunning properties for future conferences and wellness retreats. We indulged in incredible food, shared good laughs, and of course, sampled some of the region’s best wines (all in the name of research, of course!).
I feel renewed.
Now, I’m off again—onto the next fabulous destination. I’ll be inspecting beautiful hotels, including a recently refurbished property, and exploring even more wellness-focused offerings for our upcoming retreats.
Can you guess where I’m heading? 🧐🧐
Here’s a pic of me having a woeful attempt at the “Swing and Sip”, hosted by Château Élan at The Vintage – despite receiving top tips from their resident pro golfer 😅
… and yes, the ball is STILL on the tee!! 🤣🤣
It feels good to be back in this creative space… though this past month has been a timely reminder 🥰
So friends, be kind to your bodies.
Listen to it when it whispers, not just when it screams.
Embrace stillness, honour the pause, and know that rest is not weakness — it’s wisdom.
Your body carries you through so much… the least we can do is listen when it asks for care.
I send you all my love ❤️

Ecclesiastes 2:24 KJV – There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.
You’re right Chelley! At times, the healer needs some healing too.
What a perfect reminder for all of us.
Glad to know Boo is back. Please send her my love.
Love you,
Tita
Thank you Tita! 🙏
anyone who cares for another is a healer 🙌
In the day to day busyness of life, we often underestimate the importance we bring to each other’s lives 🥰 it’s important we give our selves the space to heal and be our best selves 💕
So glad you were reminded of this too 🙏
Love you x
